FACE YOUR FEARS Part I: AWARENESS

You can’t change what you can’t see.

Developing self-awareness allows you to acknowledge the thoughts, fears, emotional reactions and physical habits that may be interfering with your ability to perform at your best.

FACE YOUR FEARS Part II: ACCEPTANCE

This is a step that a lot of coaches miss.

 

You can become aware of something and then choose to completely deny or bury it. However, there is no way to build resilience to fear if you don’t first accept its presence.

 

Acceptance of past failures and current setbacks, allows you to best manage fear of future failures. This helps build up the self-confidence needed to continue stepping into your spotlight.

GAIN STRENGTH PART I: ADJUSTMENT

Who you are as a person, is who you will be in your performance.

 

Adjustment strategies which promote positive, long-lasting change in your personal life, will then transform you into the most courageous and resilient person you can be in your performance life. Getting ahead of the “will power trap” and common influences that block people from change will set you up for a greater chance at success!

GAIN STRENGTH PART II: RESILIENCE

Resilience is defined by our consistent capacity to get back up after a fall, regardless of whether we do so with grace and strength, or in a struggling, messy manner.

 

Coordinating positive lifestyle habits into a wellness routine to find resilience amidst the ebb and flow of daily life will help you fail forward on the “bad days” and achieve greatness on the “good days”.

RISE Part I: FEAR TO FUEL

Fear is a soldier. Its function is to protect you from danger at all times, ensuring you survive any imminent threat to your wellbeing. Weakness occurs when you turn your back on fear, as it then has the opportunity to take you down from behind and control your life. The goal is not to entomb, negate or eradicate your fear. It’s to befriend it, and turn it into fuel.

Flaws, fears & failures: these things do not make you broken, they make you human.

 

Exuding charisma and presenting yourself as perfect might impress people for a while. However, embracing imperfection is what ensures connection. Those willing to become whole with their “darkside” and show up in the world authentically are often the ones who leave a lasting, impactful imprint on the minds and hearts of their fans, followers, audiences and clients.
